Stephen J. Dresnick, MD is the Managing Partner of Dresnick Healthcare Advisors. From 2006-2008 Dr. Dresnick served as the President of Surgem of Florida; the decade prior to Surgem, Dr. Dresnick was founder and CEO of Solis Healthcare, CEO of Sterling Healthcare, and president of Sterling Health Solutions. From 1987 through 1998, Dr. Dresnick served as President and CEO of Sterling Healthcare Group, Inc. (nasdq:STER) In March 1998, Dr. Dresnick became the President and CEO of FPA, and was recognized in 1996 by Ernst and Young, USA Today and NASDAQ as Florida’s Healthcare Entrepreneur of the Year. In addition, Dr. Dresnick was chosen for the “Physician Business Leadership” award by Medical Business of South Florida during 1996. Dr. Dresnick graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed medical school at the University of Miami in 1975, being elected into Iron Arrow, the highest honor at the university. Dr. Dresnick completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at UCLA. He currently holds the Series 79 license with FINRA.
